	Ulla Dessous Based in Leinach, near Würzburg, in Germany Ulla Dessous has been producing foundation garments since 1948. In the winter of that year the company founder, Mr Gerhard Weidauer, arrived in Leinach with parts for 2 sewing machines in his rucksack. Soon after, under the direction of his wife Eleonore, production was started in a room adjoining the village pub. From this small beginning the family firm was established and began to expand. The Weidauer's son and daughter-in-law, Gerd-Jürgen and his wife Ingrid, came into the business and the company now has approximately 85 employees. The founders are now, sadly, no longer with us, but the third generation is preparing to come into the comapny as we head into the new millenium. Ulla produces specialist functional foundation garments, as well as a wide range of superior high quality fashion lingerie. This fashion lingerie is supplied to the industry as well as shops and boutiques stocking larger size ladies clothes and underwear. From the beginning Ulla has specialised in producing it's garments in a wide range of sizes, and this has been continued with the fashion lines. Every range is produced in back sizes 34 to 56 and cup sizes B to F(G). With increasing demand for larger sizes, some ranges of bras also include FF(H) and G(I) cups.
