Support Our Work for Breast Cancer Research
We set out from day one to give something back. Our Managing Director, Linda, was particularly keen to continue the support she had given over a number of years to Breast Cancer causes. And we felt it was a perfect fit with our business ideas and ideals.
With some careful planning and negotiation, we have kept our overheads to an absolute minimum. This allows us to donate quite generously, and without affecting the price you pay. We don't inflate our prices or shipping charges - we make the donations from our profits!
We donate 50p (about 75¢) from every order all year round.
"Where Does The Money Go?"
Before it became Cancer Research UK we were donating to the breast cancer research of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. We now put aside our donation each month and at our financial year end we will decide which breast cancer charity or charities will receive the money.
If you would like to suggest a charity that could benefit please email linda@double-d.com. Please explain very briefly why you believe the money should go to your nominated charity.

Spread The Word. A great way to help us raise extra money is to spread the word about Double-D.com. You can use our recommend-a-friend form.
Link To Us. If you have a website please consider putting a link to Double-D on your website. If you have an email newsletter, you could run an article. What ever way you achieve it, more traffic means more sales and that means more money going to help the fight against Breast Cancer.
